Welcome back to the completely new redesigned launch of Ashley-T.Com! Please note that our website is best viewed in Internet Explorer 7, if you don’t have it; you can download it here, and a screen resolution of 1280×1024. We’ve been working so hard this past month remodeling and incorporating the template to match BuddyTV’s needs. You might also notice some minor changes to the sidebar. Unfortunately, most of the pages aren’t updated/transferred yet to WordPress – so please be patient as I work on it. We really hope you guys enjoy the new layout, comments are always appreciated. I’d also like to give a BIG thanks to Joanna for all the help with WordPress. We’re still working on our contest, so look out for that later today! All missed updates and photos will be posted, so keep checking back!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m back! I came back just in time as today is my 16th birthday! The new layout is finished and it will launch officially on September 1st. I’d like to thank Joanna for looking after my site while I was gone. I’d also like to thank all my friends that wished me a Happy Birthday! Keep it clicked for all the latest news on Ashley Tisdale.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of town from August 18th through August 25th. My family and I will be driving to Florida and I’m not sure of the exact date I’ll be back. I will have internet access down there, so feel free to continue sending e-mails. While I’m gone, Joanna will look after the site and post any updates such as news or images. I got a lucky chance to review Ashley’s new movie “Picture This!” from MGM (Thanks again Natalie!) which doesn’t come out until July 22nd. Many of you may have questions for me regarding the movie, and I’ll gladly answer them. Unfortunately I am not allowed to post any stills, clips, songs, etc. from the movie. Let me start off by saying I was absolutely amazed at how well this movie was put together and how great of a job Ashley did with the movie. Honestly, I was expecting an alright movie (considering it is straight to DVD) but this movie has full potential to do well in theaters as well. I won’t share any spoilers – but what I will say is that this movie is not something you’d expect from Ashley (and I’m saying that in a good way). Ashley brought new acting skills to the table with this movie as she plays the unpopular senior in High School (opposite of the spoiled Sharpay we all love to hate in the High School Musical series). It may seem like your typical High School drama/comedy movie – but it’s not. I highly recommend you watch this movie. It’s funny, sad, and heartwarming all at the same time as we watch Mandy’s relationship with her father and friends change. As far as Ashley’s cover of “Shadows of the Night” goes – it was amazing. The “Picture This!” DVD comes loaded with extra features including behind-the-scenes featurette, a movie quiz, and more! For all those wondering why it’s rated PG-13; it’s because “Some Sexual References.” Be sure to watch the movie on ABC Family on Sunday, July 13 (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT). But most importantly: buy the DVD July 22. It’s also been confirmed that the “Picture This” Soundtrack will be available digitally in July 2008 which will include Ashley’s cover of Pat Benatar’s “Shadows of the Night.” Enjoy this special sneak peek of the movie thanks to Access Hollywood!
