Making it a true family affair, Ashley Tisdale is all smiles as she arrives at JFK airport in New York on Sunday afternoon (September 6).
The 25-year-old Hellcats hottie was accompanied not just by her mom Lisa and pup Maui, but also her grandmother, sister Jennifer and niece Mikayla. Four generations of Tisdale women!
Ashley recently chatted with USA Today about her new series, debuting in ONE DAY. She shared, “I’m actually living out my dream as a cheerleader. I tried cheerleading … but I wasn’t really that coordinated! I didn’t have the normal going-to-high-school experience, but Jen kind of did all that stuff. The structure of (cheer) dance is so different, and she’s been a real big help. She’s like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I can’t believe you’re out there doing it!’ They take themselves really seriously. If you miss one practice, you are out. For Savannah, that is her life.”

Ashley Tisdale is opening up about her captain Savannah Monroe character in the new series, Hellcats.
The 25-year-old actress joked about Savannah, “She is a neat freak! She’s completely organized and definitely focused. She’s been in her own cheerleading bubble for so long and it’s her whole life. With her and Marti being roommates, they free each other with that.”
Costar pal Aly Michalka chimed in on the Savannah-Marti friendship, saying, “I love that they become friends. There’s this offbeat, quirky relationship with the two of them that — these girls who really don’t have that much in common, actually respect each other.”

The CW is staging an attempt to break a Guinness World Record for “Largest Cheerleading Dance” at a single venue.
On Sept. 4, squads from around the country will participate in a 5-minute choreographed “Hellcats” dance at Frisco Memorial Stadium in Frisco, TX.
