I got a lucky chance to review Ashley’s new movie “Picture This!” from MGM (Thanks again Natalie!) which doesn’t come out until July 22nd. Many of you may have questions for me regarding the movie, and I’ll gladly answer them. Unfortunately I am not allowed to post any stills, clips, songs, etc. from the movie. Let me start off by saying I was absolutely amazed at how well this movie was put together and how great of a job Ashley did with the movie. Honestly, I was expecting an alright movie (considering it is straight to DVD) but this movie has full potential to do well in theaters as well. I won’t share any spoilers – but what I will say is that this movie is not something you’d expect from Ashley (and I’m saying that in a good way). Ashley brought new acting skills to the table with this movie as she plays the unpopular senior in High School (opposite of the spoiled Sharpay we all love to hate in the High School Musical series). It may seem like your typical High School drama/comedy movie – but it’s not. I highly recommend you watch this movie. It’s funny, sad, and heartwarming all at the same time as we watch Mandy’s relationship with her father and friends change. As far as Ashley’s cover of “Shadows of the Night” goes – it was amazing. The “Picture This!” DVD comes loaded with extra features including behind-the-scenes featurette, a movie quiz, and more! For all those wondering why it’s rated PG-13; it’s because “Some Sexual References.” Be sure to watch the movie on ABC Family on Sunday, July 13 (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT). But most importantly: buy the DVD July 22. It’s also been confirmed that the “Picture This” Soundtrack will be available digitally in July 2008 which will include Ashley’s cover of Pat Benatar’s “Shadows of the Night.” Enjoy this special sneak peek of the movie thanks to Access Hollywood! Also, I’ll have the official full length trailer available on Monday.
AshleyMusic.Com: It’s been officially confirmed that Ashley is currently working on her second album (follow up from her debut “Headstrong” which landed #5 on the Billboards Album Charts the first week it came out). Ashley has plans to record sometime during this year. She wants to focus on writing and take her time with this album which is why it won’t be released until 2009. Please note that any other album info you see on fansites, other message boards, or things like that is false. I will post information on Ashley’s next album when it comes available.

From Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens to Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu, “Extra” is at the top secret Utah set of the highly anticipated “High School Musical 3″ — and we’ve got all the details on the flick, which hits theatres in October. The latest installment of the wildly popular Disney franchise follows the high school students through their senior year — including a prom scene, which may reveal a love connection between the characters played by Bleu and Monique Coleman. “We go to prom together,” admits Corbin. The prom scene may be special in more ways then one; for actress Vanessa, it was her first experience with the high school dance! “I was always home-schooled, so I never got to go to my own prom because I never went to an actual school,” said Hudgens, “this is my prom!” Heartthrob Efron weighed in on the dance routines for “HSM 3: Senior Year” — now they’re bigger, better and harder than before! “The dances are out of control this time,” said Zac, “I know I’m hurting this time — I hurt in places I didn’t know I had!” Will fans of the “High School Musical” franchise get number 4 after this one? “This is the last chapter for us — as of now,” said Efron.
School is out for summer and step brothers Phineas and Ferb decide to make each day an adventure from building a death defying rollercoaster or surfing tidal waves to locating Frankenstein’s Brain. Their bold escapades always end up cramping the style of their teenaged sister Candace who makes every attempt to expose mom to what is really going on but somehow always seems to fail. Meanwhile the family’s simple minded pet platypus leads a double life as secret “Agent P” and faces off with the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz to save the world. There’s a whole lot of stuff to do before school starts and Phineas and Ferb plan to do it all. The “Phineas and Ferb: The Fast and the Phineas” DVD will hit stores on July 29th and is 112 minutes long. Click here to Pre-Order the DVD.
