“Beverly Hills Chihuahua” DVD Review – PG – Out Now – 5 Stars
Described as the greatest Chihuahua movie of all time, I would have to agree! I’m a sucker for talking animals, especially cute small dogs! Papi (voiced by George Lopez) is in love with Chloe (voiced by Drew Barrymore) and gets an opportunity to show his love and gratitude when Chloe is in need of serious help. Chloe is used to living the big life: relaxing by the pool with her other canine friends, getting perfectly groomed and of course all the latest clothing and accessories. All of this was not taken for granted when Chloe has been dognapped while on vacation in Mexico. Now it’s up to Papi and a few other canine friends to help save Chloe to get her home in time before her serious dog lover owner comes home! Special relationships are built between dogs and old relationships are reinvented with humans. It’s a very heartwarming tale that will keep you begging for more! The DVD includes Deleted Scenes – Introductions by Director Raja Gosnell, Blooper Scooper and Legend of The Chihuahua – an animated short.
