Ashley doesn’t mind the attention Maui (her 1-year-old Maltese-Poodle mix) gets.

“Everybody that meets her falls in love,” she told People. “We call it Maui Fever.”

Ashley says Maui knows how to amaze a crowd as great as any veteran performer. “When she gets excited, she starts to jiggle and tap dance like the penguins from ‘Happy Feet,’” she says. “This dog has great comedic timing.”

Despite the fact, Maui’s not successful when it comes to potty training.

“Because we were in hotels all the time and traveling when she was little, she would want to go to the bathroom in the bathroom,” Ashley giggles. “Still today, if I’m in an airport, she will go in the airport stall.”
