
“P&F: The Fast and The Phineas” DVD Review – TV G – Out Now – 5 Stars
The new hit animated Disney Channel original series is now out on DVD for the first time! You can join Phineas and Ferb as they plot each and everyday of their Summer to enjoy it while it lasts. Nothing is ever impossible for them. As the boys always think up a scheme, their big sister Candace always has to bust them – but never successfully does so. Meanwhile, their pet platypus Perry (or “Agent P”) is always secretly saving the world from Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil antics. Perry always manages to clean up Phineas and Ferb’s evidence before Candace busts them. The DVD includes five episodes: “One Good Scare Ought To Do It!,” “The Fast and The Phineas; Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror,” “Are You My Mummy?; Flop Starz,” “Raging Bully; Lights, Candace, Action!” and “It’s About Time!.” The DVD features a never-before-seen 2-part episode and bonus features such as the Original Pitch by Dan Povenmire and Phineas and Ferb’s Homemade Tree Shade Arcade which includes custom-made games and activities.

In the episode, “Doin’ Time in Suite 2330,” Zack and Cody are grounded and forbidden to leave their suite, so Maddie steps in for Cody as producer of London’s internet show, “Yay Me.” In an attempt to win the Golden Netty Award, Cody sneaks out and gets “The Cheetah Girls” as guest stars for London’s show, only to find out that Maddie has already booked recording artist Chris Brown as a guest star. Unfortunately Ashley’s “He Said, She Said” music video did not make it into the nominees for the Best Dancing In A Video category. The following five videos have been nominated in the Best Dancing In A Video category: Ne-Yo “Closer,” Madonna Feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland “4 Minutes,” Chris Brown “Forever,” Pussycat Dolls “When I Grow Up” and Danity Kane “Damaged.” But don’t get too upset because MTV needs your help, once again, determining which videos get nominated for Video Of The Year! Looks like “I Want It All” performed by Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay Evans) and Lucas Grabeel (Ryan Evans) from the “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” soundtrack will NOT be premiering today. On the official Radio Disney website, it states that it will now premiere next Friday (August 15th) at 6:00 PM ET/3:00 PM PT.
